A Message of Gratitude

As we close out another incredible school year, we want to thank our families, staff, volunteers, and community supporters for helping make this year a success. Because of your participation, generosity, and school spirit, our PTA was able to create meaningful experiences for students, support our teachers and staff, and strengthen our school community.

PTA Membership

This year, our PTA proudly grew to 53 members, including:

Your involvement and support continues to make a lasting impact on our students and school community.

Membership for the 2026-27 school year will start July 1. Membership dues will remain at $15 for new and renewals.

2025–2026 PTA Highlights

Throughout the school year, the PTA hosted and supported several successful events and initiatives, including:

Family & Community Events

• Hosted 3 Family Skate Nights

• Hosted 9 Gelati Ice Cream Fundraisers

• Hosted a Chuck E. Cheese Family Night

• Hosted our annual Sneaker Ball

• Hosted 4 Mornings with Moms

• Hosted 3 All Pro Dads

  
  

Staff & Student Support

• Donated $400 to Chamberlayne Elementary School for Teacher Appreciation Week

• Sponsored food for the school’s Black History Month Program

  
  

Special Thank You

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Dorgas McDonough and Cory McDonough for their generosity, leadership, and dedication to the Chamberlayne PTA over the last several years. They will truly be missed as part of our Chamberlayne Bobcat family.

Dorgas has faithfully served as our PTA President for the past four years, helping lead and grow our organization through her passion and commitment to our students, families, and staff.

Looking Ahead to 2026–2027

As we prepare for another exciting school year, our goal is to grow our PTA to 100 members and continue building momentum through engaging programs, events, and family experiences for our students.

PTA Membership officially kicks off July 1, 2026 and membership is only $15, just a small investment that directly supports the programming and experiences that make a difference in your child’s elementary school journey.

We are also actively recruiting:

• Volunteers to assist at events

• Parents and caregivers to join our planning team

• Community members who want to make a positive impact at Chamberlayne

• Sponsors to help us continue to have the resources to provide to the school

Together, we can continue creating meaningful opportunities for our students, families, and staff.
